Gift Cards

A handy little how-to guide for purchasing a gift card.

• There are 2 different rates at the studio: Studio Rate (which are sessions with our MT’s on staff) and then Laura’s Rate (which are for sessions specifically with the owner). Please be specific when purchasing your gift card. If you choose the regular studio rate, sessions will be booked with one of our wonderful MT’s on staff.
  

• Can you include tip with the gift card? Absolutely! A note will be made on the gift card mentioning “Gratuity included” so the recipient is fully taken care of.
  

• Gift Cards expire within 6-months. This is to encourage the recipient to come in for some much needed bodywork and not let it lapse into the following year.
  

• Is your recipient already a client of Massage Studio of Philadelphia? If so, email us so we can help you figure out what the best session is, who their frequented MT is etc.
  

• We’re a little old fashioned here at the studio so we have actual gift cards with mini envelopes (the size of a business card). We can pop it in the mail for you (either to you or directly to the recipient). Or we can arrange a pick-up time. Please note that we do not operate normal business hours or have a store front, so picking up would be arranged in between clients which can be a bit tough sometimes.
  

• Yes, we do virtual/email gift cards too! These are the easiest method and can be scheduled to send out on a certain day, or ASAP.
  

• You can pay for you gift card via Venmo (@MassageStudioPhilly) and leave in the comments “gift card for recipients first name/last initial “ OR we will send over an invoice where you can pay via credit card. There is a $4 processing fee for invoiced/credit card payments. Payment must be received prior to sending over the gift card.
  

• What should you purchase? Our signature is The 60, but there are several treatment options available. Email us and we can help! Services offered.
  

• How does the recipient redeem the gift card? There is a QR code on the gift card that links directly to the website where they can go and book their session. In the comments they should leave “GIFT CARD” or they can email us directly saying they have a gift card to redeem and we can manually get them booked. After that, as long as we confirm the gift card there’s nothing left for them to worry about! www.massagestudiophilly.com/booking
