A little bit about our studio --

As a Professional Dancer, Yoga Instructor and Massage Therapist, I wanted to create a space to help movers maintain their movement. Whether a professional athlete or a weekend warrior my goal is to encourage taking care of your body from a recovery and maintanence perspective.

Normalizing bodywork and stretching not only as self-care but crucial in maintaining your daily movement (whatever that may encompass). We work with clients coming from PT offices furthering their rehab, professional athletes and dancers, athletic hobbyists, the average gym-goer and more -- regardless of age or level of activity.

Our team of MT's are quality bodyworkers all interested and continually curious about movement, the body and how to keep us moving at our best.

Here are some workshops that I think would be a great fit for the Be Well Philly Fest. Each workshop can be curated to your audience/theme. (Realistic/possible time frames are listed under descriptions).

Self-Massage Series - utilizing tennis balls, you'll be guided through a series of myofascial release stretches and massage exercises that will help your body actively and passively unwind and release. (min. 1 hr / max. 1.5 hr)

Thai Yoga Floor Massage - Grab a partner and a yoga mat to participate in this hands-on, assisted stretch style massage. This massage is done fully clothed on the floor. You and your partner will have the chance to practice on each other as you are guided through some beginner Thai Massage movements and concepts along with some hands-on basics that teach you where to touch, how to touch, anatomical landmarks and more. (min. 2 hr / max. 4 hr)

Yoga Basics - Interested in yoga but too intimidated to take a class? Then this workshop is for YOU! We will review the overall layout of a standard yoga class, including breath work, sun salutations and the most basic yoga asanas (poses). We'll dissect these core poses together so that you feel comfortable in your body about where you are supposed to be instead of what you are supposed to look like. We'll review modifications and resting postures so that you will feel comfortable taking a group class and not feeling behind, left out or lost. (min. 1 hr / max. 2 hr)

Stretching for EveryBODY - In this one-hour workshop you'll be guided through some basic/everyday stretches. We'll go over what they are good for, how you can modify them to meet your body's needs and creative ways to stretch throughout the day. Think mobility and movement stretching (like tying your shoe or picking your baby up out of the crib) instead of flexibility stretching (like splits or intense yoga postures). (min. 1 hr / max. 2 hr)
